Key Responsibilities: Manage the budget including but not limited to, MTEF process, preparing monthly variance reports, quarterly reporting, Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in line with GRAP and relevant directives • Manage and reconcile all general ledger accounts • Manage assets including but not limited to, keeping proper and accurate asset register and performing reconciliation • Manage inventory • Cash management including, but not limited to reconciliation, monitoring the trends, requesting funds transfer from the dti, loading payments, replenishing petty cash • Overall debtors management • Assist with SCM as and when required • Prepare and reconcile payroll related accounts, eg leave, PAYE etc •Overall revenue and expenditure management • Maintain and Monitor irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure register • Attend to audit queries • Prepare and implement policies and procedures relating to accounting services
Job requirements: •Honour Degree in Financial Accounting or related • Completed articles and CA (SA) will serve as an added advantage • 7 years’ related experience • VIP and Pastel •Advanced Excel • Microsoft Office• PFMA• PPPFA• Treasury Regulations• GRAP
