MEDIA RELEASE DATE: 22 AUGUST 2022 TO: JOURNALISTS AND EDITORS THE COMPANIES TRIBUNAL CELEBRATING WOMEN’S MONTH This Women’s Month (August), the Companies Tribunal is focusing on women owned or run companies. The Companies Tribunal is an alternative to the courts; provides adjudication and Alternative Dispute Resolution as means to resolve company disputes. The Companies Tribunal encourages Women to take advantage of the user-friendly, speedy and cost-effective services of the Companies Tribunal in the resolution of company disputes. These services are funded by the government and come at no cost to the users. Various types of disputes falling under the Companies Act 71 of 2008, may be brought to the Companies tribunal for resolution.
