We were requested to prepare a memorandum setting out the alternative interpretative methods in relation to section 61(7) of the Companies Act. The two proponents are Dr Mohamed Alli Chicktay and Brian Jennings, with Minah Tong-Mongalo as independent (having not yet rendered a decision in this regard).
