The Applicant, Wierda Glen Estate Homeowners Association NPC (“WG”), registration number 012/08/2013, a non-profit company duly incorporated and registered in terms of the laws of the Republic of South Africa, carrying on business within the jurisdiction of South Africa, makes application for an exemption from appointing a social and ethics committee (“SEC”), in terms of section 72(5) and 72 (6) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) read together with Regulation (Reg) 26 (2) and Reg 43(1) and (2).
