Applicant is a Non Profit Company whose public interest score(PIS) in two of the previous five years was above 500 points. Based on the said PIS, the Applicant is required by Section 72(4)(a) read with Regulation 43(1)(c) of Companies Act 71 of 2008(the Act), to appoint a social and ethics committee(SEC) unless exempted by the Companies Tribunal(the Tribunal).
