The purpose of this application is to seek relief in terms of Regulation 142, of the Companies Regulations, 2011 and Section 72(5) of the Companies Act, 2008 for an exemption from the requirement to appoint a Social and Ethics committee (SEC) in terms of sections 72 (5) (a) & (b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (as amended) (the CA).
