This application is brought against the First to Sixth Respondents (“the Respondents”) on the basis that the respective entities have been using names which are confusingly similar to the name “Rothschild and Co”, with the intention of misleading the public by implying that the Respondents have a legitimate association with Rothschild and Co and its affiliates (the Rothschild & Co Group) in an attempt to lend credibility to the services that the Respondents purport to offer.
