This is an application initiated by a certain Jennifer Bennette (Bennette), the company secretary of the applicant, ostensibly acting on behalf of the applicant. This Tribunal is requested, in terms of the application for relief (i.e. Form CTR 142), to “attend to cancel the name reservation and disallow any future name reservations similar to Dangote, being the companies we present [sic]”. But, the aforementioned relief metamorphosed in the request for default order (i.e. Form CTR 145) to simply “Cancellation of the name reservation of Dangote Dwaalboom Mining (Pty) Ltd”.
