This is an Application in terms of Section 160 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) for a determination order: a) that the decision of the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CICP) not to approve the proposed name “Policing Association of Southern Africa (“POLSA) be set aside, and b) that the CICP be directed to reserve the said proposed name.
