This is an application in terms of section 160 of the Act read with Regulations 142 and 153. The Applicant applied to the Respondent on the 16th August 2017 for the reservation of a company name, “Pensions Africa”. The Applicant was advised by the Respondent in terms of a Notice (Reference 980763922) dated the 17th August 2017 that the name applied for was declined on the basis that a “confusingly similar name exists”.
